What to tell us
When you call or write, these four things let us give you a useful answer straight away instead of a series of follow-up questions:
- The year, make and model
- What the car is doing — the noise, the light, the feeling
- When it started, and whether it is getting worse
- Whether you have a deadline, such as a smog check or a trip
If you have a warning light on
A flashing check engine light means stop driving and call us — continuing can damage the catalytic converter. A steady light is not usually an emergency, but it should be scanned before it becomes one.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an appointment?
It helps, especially on Saturdays. Call ahead and we will tell you honestly whether it is worth coming in that day.
Can I leave the car with you?
Yes. Tell us when you need it back and we will tell you whether that is realistic before you commit.
Are you open on Sunday?
No — we are closed Sunday. We are open Monday to Friday 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
